Wayne State University's Center for Urban Studies, in collaboration with the Hispanic Business Alliance (HBA) and the Center for Chicano-Boricua Studies (CBS), conducted this Hispanic/Latina(o) study detailing the economic contributions and demographic characteristics of Southeast Michigan's Hispanic/Latina(o) population. N ew Detroit’s Multicultural Leadership Series offers a highly innovative approach to building cultural competency. Our goal is to develop a greater understanding of the distinctive and subtle differences between racial and ethnic groups and to provide the tools to enhance communication.Objectives
OverviewThis experience highlights the history, culture and socioeconomics of the following communities of color: African American, Arab, Asian, Chaldean, Latino and Native American.
