What is the 2010 Census?

  • The census is a count of everyone living in the United States and is done every 10 years.
  • It is for everyone regardless of legal standing or immigration status.

You will get a form in the mail this March

  • Census Day is April 1, 2010. Please complete the form and mail it back.
  • In most cases it takes 10 minutes to fill out the form and if you complete and mail it by April 1, a census worker will NOT need to visit your home.
